Hi there, I'm Flora!

I provide remote therapy in English, Spanish, and Spanglish. I'm a client-centered clinician with a holistic approach to therapy and healing, meeting you where you are in your journey.

My focus

I work with women, femmes, mothers, and people from BIPOC, Queer, and Immigrant communities who are navigating identity and relationship issues, life transitions, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, grief, stress, and postpartum issues.

My approach

Humans are complex and diverse, so therapy should not be one-size-fits-all. I have a holistic and collaborative approach informed by your needs, values, and desires. I draw upon cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, mindfulness-based, and person-centered therapies.

My communication style

I am friendly, gentle, humble, open, and direct. I strive to create a comfortable, non-judgmental, empowering, and inclusive space where you can feel heard and supported. I strive to base sessions around your individual needs and desires. I listen deeply, sit with a range of human experiences and emotions, and offer a grounded, calm presence.

My journey to mental healthcare

As a multicultural, Latinx, bilingual woman and mother, I feel passionate about empowering women, mothers, femmes, and people from immigrant, BIPOC, and queer communities. My own struggles led me to this profession, and I'm hopeful that empowering you to better know, value, and love your full self contributes to a healthier, more equitable world.

Some people come to therapy with clear goals, while others need time and space to discover what they'd like to work on. Goals may also change as you gain insight and awareness. I meet you wherever you are in this process and check in regularly to ensure you're feeling supported.
