My journey to mental healthcare

What attracted me to this field was seeing the number of youth who were in need of someone to talk to and guidance. I want to see those in need have a place to seek support when there is no one willing to work with them.

My goals for you

Goals are what the client wants to work on. The goals are set by talking with the client and agreeing on what they feel is important. It is a collaboration between therapist and client.

Our first session

The first session is getting to know each other. Allow clients to ask questions that will put them at ease. Also inquiring what is happening that requires a therapist, how long have they had the sxs and how do they manifest. Clinically, they need to be informed of confidentiality, informed consent, when confidentiality can and will be broken.
