My name is Litcatzin Yoakum, but I go by Lee. My main focus is LGBTQ+ individuals, but all are welcome. I have worked with people as old as 3 years old to 95 years young.

My focus

I typically work with youth, but I have worked with couples and families. I have some extensive work history working in psych units and am comfortable working with people with various or complex traumas, grief, and loss.

My approach

I enjoy utilizing solution-focused and person-centered approaches, but I work with whatever is in the best interest of my client.

I am very laid back and have a calm demeanor. I offer a safe place to listen and hear your thoughts.

My journey to mental healthcare

I wanted to become a therapist since I was 16 years old. I had a school counselor help me when I was most vulnerable, and it impacted me in such a way that I wanted to give other people the same type of unconditional positive regard she gave me.

My goals for you

I approach goal setting with clients in a collaborative way. If a client feels stuck identifying a goal, I offer a couple of different options, and we can always change them as needed.
