My journey to mental healthcare

I became a therapist to be the person I needed when I was younger--someone who would listen, support, challenge, and hold space for me in big feelings and every day trials and hurts. I consider this profession the greatest privilege and honor of my life--to be a safe place for people to take the mask off, process, and uncover their true potential.

My goals for you

I view treatment as a collaborative effort, where I help clients zoom out on current situations and content to see larger patterns of behavior, beliefs, and trauma. Through this collaboration, I empower clients to honor and acknowledge their own strengths, capacity, and resilience.

Our first session

The first session is initially to break the ice and ease the nerves. I get to know a client and allow them to get to know me and my therapy style to ensure they feel comfortable meeting with me. I start by hearing their reasons for seeking therapy and hearing their story and how I can come alongside them in their journey toward freedom.
