I am a therapist who enjoys diversity and helping you with your life from a non-judgmental, empathetic, and honest perspective. My focus

I like to assist clients to better manage their LGBTQ issues, Anxiety, Depression, Life adjustment, Interpersonal issues with family/family of choice/partners/friends, Adulting, solution-focused, Social and Emotional Support, Empowering, and Bio-psycho-social issues.

My approach

The therapeutic approach I use is tailored based on the individuals' needs and what they hope to get from therapy. In general, CBT, Supportive Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-based therapy, meditation, and mindfulness are the areas I am most comfortable in.

My communication style

Providing a safe space where you and I can explore your situation, problems, beliefs, values, and desires is my number one goal. Although I prefer to help you get a fresh perspective and work with you for outcomes, I am also not afraid to be directive and hold for accountability.

My goals for you

I want you to see therapy as a tool for you to thrive in life. Therapy can be whatever you want it to be. The more you share and the more you work on yourself, the better you can come up with goals that will make you heal and move forward in the right direction.

Our first session

In our first session, we will first get to know each other and discuss what you are trying to get from therapy and your possible goals and outcomes. If for any reason, we are not a match or I feel like you would benefit from seeing someone else, I will definitely let you know.
