I'm a psychotherapist who uses DBT and psychodynamic orientations in therapy. I mostly work with adults and teens struggling with depression, anxiety, or relationships. Populations include gay, trans, non-binary, ethnic minorities, and neurodivergent.

I work with late teens and adults who suffer from substance use, depression, sexual abuse, divorce, relationship issues, self esteem, transgender issues, and trauma and PTSD.

I take a down-to-earth approach where we work together to understand and ultimately free you from unwanted patterns.

I set a relatively informal tone in which I collaborate with you. I'd like to think people experience my therapy style as empathetic and honest.

My journey to mental healthcare

I changed careers to become a therapist because I wanted to help people who are in pain.

We set goals at the beginning of therapy and periodically return to the subject to see if we are moving toward your goals.
