I take a direct yet conversational approach to therapy. I seek to get to your core issues that keep you from working through whatever seems to be keeping you stuck.

My focus

I work with clients from middle school into adulthood. I work with individuals as well as couples. I have a wide range of conditions that I am comfortable treating as I focus on a holistic approach to understanding the collection of symptoms that create the issues that keep a client from moving forward.

My approach

I focus on communication and connection. I tend to work from different theoretical perspectives based on the client's needs. I often utilize solution-focused brief therapy, family systems, and motivational interviewing as theoretical modalities.

My communication style

I am direct and to the point. I want to work with you and alongside you to assist you in finding the paths that get you to feeling you are seeking, whether it is clarity, direction, relief, or movement. I want to help you go from feeling stuck to feeling like you have options.

My journey to mental healthcare

I love being a therapist. I am driven by the curiosity of knowing why people do what they do and why. I enjoy listening to people's stories and helping them work through the issues that keep them from living the life they want.

Goal setting is a collaborative approach as we seek to identify the factors that cause the issues, develop an understanding of what possible options are, and develop a plan of action toward your desired outcome.
