I am a licensed marriage and family therapist, and I believe therapy works for those who want to make a change. My approach is collaborative and client-focused. As a veteran and active duty spouse, I relate well to the difficulty of balancing work and family life and provide tools to develop effective communication in order to resolve conflict.

I have worked extensively with college students, adults, and couples struggling with the complex dynamics of intergenerational conflict, communication concerns, anxiety, depression, work-life balance, cultural concerns, domestic violence, trauma, and military lifestyle.
My approach
I believe that what we think leads to how we feel, and how we feel leads to how we react. Utilizing the rational emotive behavioral approach, I help shape healthier mindsets that lead to healthier feelings and responses. Through the use of a person-centered approach and motivational interviewing, I look for existing strengths and build on those.
