Hi there, I'm Nadine!

I've lived in three different countries, and I use that experience to work with people from diverse cultures. I like to learn as much as I like to teach, so your journey with me won't be one-sided. You are the expert in your own journey, and I'm your guide. I look forward to meeting with you!

My focus

I enjoy working with teens navigating a changing world, people in their twenties figuring out who they are and what they want, and older adults whose life experiences teach me as much as I teach them.

My approach

I believe in short-term solution-focused therapy to help you get back on your feet as soon as possible. My approach is collaborative and practical, focusing on what works for you right now.

My communication style

I like to listen as well as educate. I'm not always the expert, so I'm open to learning. I use a laid-back approach and definitely have a sense of humor. I use myself and my journey as an example to connect with others.

My journey to mental healthcare

After working full-time in my family's restaurant and considering teaching, I realized therapy was the career for me. Once I made that decision, I never looked back.

My goals for you

I treat you as the expert in your own journey. You work on the goals you set, and my role is to guide you: to advise, show you the pros and cons of your decisions, and help you get back to your best life.

Our first session

The first session is about getting to know you and building trust. I'll ask about your childhood, relationships, work, and interests, and welcome your questions. We'll set goals you'd like to reach and discuss what to expect so you have a clear sense of what's going to happen.
