I work with clients (children, adults) with mild anxiety from outside pressure such as school, work, family, etc.

My approach

I use a person-centered approach and build trust with my clients while assisting clients to examine how their thoughts and feelings affect their actions. I also use a solution-focused approach to help clients see the 'silver lining' of a situation.

My communication style

I believe in open communication with clients. I believe folks truly have the answers and solutions to their own situation. Most folks just need to 'talk it out' to come to that conclusion.

My journey to mental healthcare

I've always had the ability to empathize with folks struggling with the daily work grind. I've struggled with workplace anxiety and can relate to those who experience workplace issues.

I typically ask clients on the first or second session what they would like to get out of therapy and what goals they have for themselves.

We'll cover basic housekeeping and informed consent. This gives us a foundation to begin our work together and ensures you understand the therapeutic process and your rights as a client.
