My communication style

I do not stick to one communication style only. An individual approach is the key for me. I strive to be warm, compassionate, relational, and focused on helping my clients achieve their goals. Humor sometimes makes a welcome appearance in session.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have been curious about people most of my life. I wondered about why some people were so loving and caring while others were so authoritative, abusive, or self-absorbed. I am driven to help others reach a level of self-awareness and empowerment.

My goals for you

I work with clients to increase their self-awareness. Helping clients understand their patterns of thought, behavior, and emotion, and how these affect their experiences, can be important for the client to be able to accept accountability and make changes.

Our first session

The first session with me will be building a relationship of trust and clarifying with the client what has brought him/her to therapy. The client and I will work together to identify goals that resonate with their needs and desires.
