My communication style

I use a client-centered approach to really listen to your reasons for wanting therapy. I don't magically change your circumstances or make decisions for you. Instead, I listen to your concerns and help you brainstorm ways to become a healthier you.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always been that friend people share their secrets with or call first when experiencing a situation. My curiosity led me to find supportive professionals who inspired me to pursue counseling. I am passionate about helping others discover their truest selves.

My goals for you

I believe you are the master of your future. My approach is to offer questions that help you come to solutions aligned with your truest self. As a first-generation Latina woman, I understand that your decisions may not align with how older generations dealt with issues, and that is okay.

Our first session

I like to take things slow and get to know you, your background, treatment history, goals, and expectations. Just like any healthy relationship, it's important we both know this is a good match. I am happy to share more of my background if it will better our relationship.
