My communication style

I communicate clearly and create a safe space for you to share what's most troubling. Our sessions are conversational, and I may guide you through exercises, help process what you're saying and feeling, and share my interpretations. It will feel like we're working together.

My journey to mental healthcare

I've had an empathic ear since my early teen years. I enjoy this work and watching people leave differently than when they first came in. We all need support from time to time, and therapists help us figure it out for ourselves. That's what motivates me—helping you find the answers to help yourself.

My goals for you

I find setting initial goals addressing coping strategies works best. As you work toward accomplishing those goals, you really do get to feeling better sooner. I check in during sessions about your progress and how you're feeling. If a goal isn't working, we set a new one.

Our first session

Our initial interaction might feel uncomfortable since we won't know one another initially, but being vulnerable is okay in this safe space. I'll ask questions to understand what brings you here, ask about your history, and see how I can best support you. We can formulate a plan together and decide if we're a good fit.
