My approach

I am a Behavior Therapist focusing on behavior modification and emotion regulation. I help you understand how you experience emotions in your body and behavior, increasing psychological flexibility using a mindfulness-based approach. I utilize humor, role play, and reading assignments to assist us on this journey.

I create a comfortable environment where you feel safe and free to be yourself. I'm a trusted partner you can confide in, and someone who will challenge you and help you grow. My goal is to help you feel heard.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have a strong desire to work with children and families, especially those in at-risk areas facing challenges like dropout, gang affiliation, and teen pregnancy. I grew up in an at-risk area and know children need models and attainable goals. After working with children, I shifted focus to adults who support the children in their lives.

My goals for you

My goal is to help you confront triggers and events relevant to your presenting symptoms. Most clients who actively work through interventions between sessions show significant benefits within six months of working together.
