I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Problem-Solving Therapy to help you identify problems, generate solutions, and implement meaningful changes. My approach centers on accepting you without judgment, fostering self-worth, personal growth, and self-awareness as we work together toward your goals.

My communication style is solution-based, empathetic, and at times, uses humor when appropriate. I want my clients to feel like they found a comfortable place to be able to hear their inner thoughts out loud and work together to help them take the weight off of those thoughts.

My journey to mental healthcare

I became a therapist because I've always enjoyed helping others overcome obstacles they didn't believe they could. I find deep fulfillment in seeing people connect with their emotions, make strides toward their goals, and discover their own strength and resilience.

I help you identify specific behaviors or mental roadblocks and create a clear path to reach your goals. We'll use behavioral health screeners throughout treatment to focus on your areas of concern and assess whether our work together is making a meaningful difference over time.

Our first session

In our first session, we'll spend most of our time discussing your presenting problem and how it's impacting your sleep, work, relationships, and daily activities. We'll also begin building rapport to establish trust, reduce misunderstandings, and create a positive therapeutic relationship.
