Hi there, I'm Marlén!

Welcome! I'm really glad you're here. As a bilingual mental health professional, I bring a culturally grounded and compassionate approach to therapy that centers on you. I identify as a first-generation Latina and have been in the field of mental health for over 23 years.

My focus

I welcome clients who are seeking a nonjudgmental space to explore their experiences. I support clients as they navigate life stressors, transitions, anxiety, depression, and relationship stress. I care deeply about women's health and have additional training in providing support to the perinatal and postpartum population.

My approach

I use an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from various evidence-based treatment models that include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, internal family systems, and more. I work towards building trust and safety in the therapy setting, as this is the basis of any successful care.
