My communication style

I create a relaxed environment where you can be yourself. Bring your snacks, coffee, and comfy PJs to the session. I create space for you to open up about the good, bad, and ugly, and I'll gently point out blind spots and work through them alongside you.

My journey to mental healthcare

Prior to becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade working in the public special education system, primarily with Autism and ADHD. Through that experience, I realized that I cared more about my students' experience in their education than the education itself. This experience is something I bring to my work with young adults facing challenges.

My goals for you

I take a very collaborative approach to goal setting. If you have specific goals you want to work on, great! If you don't, great! Whether you already have goals in mind or need support in identifying them, I've got your back, and we'll come up with a plan together that feels authentic and achievable to you.

Our first session

I typically spend about 10-15 minutes reviewing housekeeping like confidentiality, privacy policies, and scheduling, then answer any questions. The rest of the session is spent getting to know you, what brings you to therapy, and what you're hoping to get from it.
