I am passionate about helping people feel better, building emotional resilience, and living happier lives. Whether suffering stems from childhood experiences, life transitions, loss of loved ones (dementia, loss of a relationship, or death), everyone deserves the opportunity to grow and heal.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have over 25 years of experience working in a variety of settings, including child welfare, adult protective services, domestic violence, mental health, and health care (intensive care unit, dementia, chronic health conditions, and palliative care). I feel so fortunate to have such a fulfilling career.

I believe therapy is a goal-oriented journey, not a one-size-fits-all solution. We will establish goals and continuously monitor our progress. The plan is fluid: we will reassess and adjust our course whenever necessary, ensuring that our work remains centered on your evolving needs and that you ultimately reach your desired outcomes.

Our first session is all about connection and clarity. You will have time to share your concerns, hopes, and goals with me. As we discuss these topics, we will begin to get a sense of what working together will be like. If we determine that working together is a good match, we will put together a plan for our sessions moving forward.
