My focus
I like to let my client be in the driver's seat, so you are the boss when it comes to when and how much you talk about things, and whether or not you do EMDR on a particular day. You set your treatment goal with me, you let me know when you feel done with therapy, and you let me know how you are feeling about how we work together.
My approach
The symptoms you are experiencing are a normal reaction to an abnormal event. Sometimes all you need is someone to talk with, to get your story out of your head and witnessed. Sometimes it's easier to use EMDR so you don't have to talk about it so much. We can do either. I can help with depression, anxiety, grief, and life changes.
