My communication style

My communication style and therapy approach vary widely depending on the type of therapist my clients are seeking. I am trained in a wide range of approaches from direct and problem-solving to person-centered and postmodern. Primarily, my style is emotionally-focused which prioritizes empathic attunement between me and my clients at all times.

My journey to mental healthcare

I believe in the power of love and connection. In individual therapy, we focus on the love you feel and show for yourself. Relationship therapy is centered around love - the emotional bond between partners and spouses. Our family systems are made up of the people that we love, or those we meaningfully share our lives with. The through line is love.

My goals for you

The treatment planning process is completely client-driven. It is crucial that I understand exactly what you are seeking to get from therapy and what type of therapist you want to interact with. This helps helps me determine which therapy approach would work best for your situation. Our work together is then laser-focused on achieving your goals.

Our first session

I know the idea of therapy may be nerve-wrecking. So first and foremost, I acknowledge the time, consideration, and work it took to get to this point. Our first session then is mainly an opportunity for me to begin learning about you and get a clear picture of what you are hoping to gain from therapy. I look forward to hearing from you!
