I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 27 years of clinical experience. I approach therapy from a holistic perspective, taking into consideration the whole person within the context of their mental health needs. I prioritize building a safe and collaborative therapeutic relationship to create a trusting and healing environment.
My focus
I work with individual adults from young adulthood through middle age, and have extensive experience with older adults navigating early dementia or memory impairment. I treat anxiety, depression, sexual orientation issues, grief and loss, relationship problems, self-esteem and confidence building, men's issues, and life transitions.
My approach
I consider both internal and situational stressors when providing therapy, recognizing that various factors bring about mental health distress. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, reality therapy, and solution-focused therapy approaches to address the whole person.
