Hi there, I'm Tanecha!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who is passionate about supporting, assisting, and dissecting personal narratives and experiences with my clients. This also includes challenges for changing disruptive patterns for growth through a universal approach and healthy life changes, which can create new narratives.

My focus

Therapy sessions are designed/intended for individuals to learn more about themselves or their situations. This includes behavior, attitude, thought pattern, and learned behaviors. I have worked with people aged from 5 to 61 years of age with depression, anxiety, PTSD, intense behavioral issues, deficiency, dysfunction, and relationship challenges.

My approach

My avenue to therapy is a custom fit to openness and genuineness to personal stories of every client. My avenues will incorporate different modalities such as talk therapy, person-centered, attachment, narrative, rational approach, and psychodynamic. I consider my approaches and psychodynamics.

I bring a calm tone to sessions and value being direct and honest. You can expect straightforward communication delivered with warmth and respect for where you are in your journey.

My journey to mental healthcare

My own childhood experiences and life challenges led me to this work. I knew early on that helping others would require more than textbooks—it would draw from lived experience and genuine understanding of what people go through.

We set goals together collaboratively. I may offer suggestions, but you're ultimately the driver of your life and your therapy. My role is to support the direction you choose and help you get there.
