I have experience working with teens, young adults, and other adults, managing the challenges of life and social pressures. I support clients with concerns such as depression, stress, anxiety, trauma, peer conflict/bullying, self-harm, self-esteem, school-related issues, racial/ethnic identity, racial microaggressions, and racial trauma.
My approach
I utilize a client-centered approach to fully understand my client's perspective, values, and beliefs. My client-centered approach is integrated with elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
