I've worked in the mental health field in both a hospital and government setting. I consider it a privilege to work with clients in helping them reach their goals in treatment.

My focus

I work with adults and couples. I am comfortable dealing with clients who have severe and persistent mental illness and clients who struggle with day-to-day challenges.

My approach

Life can be overwhelming for a number of reasons, and it's natural to seek help to find clarity and stability. Using Solution Focused Therapy, I can help you work through a crisis and better understand your feelings amid struggle. The journey can be hard and very emotional, but it is worth the time and energy you put in.

We will work together to assess your unique needs and capacities. By intently listening to your personal stories and practicing self-reflection, we will build upon your strengths.

My journey to mental healthcare

I decided I wanted to help people who have experienced trauma. I returned to school to get my master's in Social Work. What drives me to this work is that everyone deserves someone to listen to their story without judgment.

Developing treatment goals at the start of therapy can set a direction for future sessions, and help clients begin to envision their desired outcomes.

Our first session

During the first session with me, clients should expect to give a brief mental health history and their current challenges. By the end of the session, clients should have an understanding of how future sessions will be conducted and a beginning goal.
