I typically work with adults facing daily life stressors, past trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, relational problems, PTSD, grief and loss, drug addiction, and anger management.

My approach

My approach to therapy is to customize each individual's treatment plan based on their needs. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Strength-Based, and Trauma-Focused techniques. While utilizing these mechanisms, we can come together to draft our best approach to therapy.

My communication style

My communication style is calm, personable, and welcoming. I provide a safe and open place to discuss difficult topics without being judged. This helps to create an environment where progress can be achieved.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always had a drive to help others since I was young. I worked in many disciplines, such as hospitals, working with veterans, dialysis patients, child welfare clients, athletes, and the elderly. Seeing the progress of these populations I work with continues to drive me to do this work.

My approach to goal setting is working together with the client and drafting up goals that the client would like to achieve in therapy.

In our first session, I'll get a better understanding of your background and the goals you'd like to achieve during therapy. The first session will also be about us building rapport together and how we will move forward in therapy.
