Hi there, I'm Michelle!

I have had the honor to provide mild, moderate, and severe mental health services to couples, children, individuals, and families in their primary language, Spanish and English. In addition, I have experience providing crisis mental health services.

My focus

I have comprehensive experience serving diverse individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, psychosis, bipolar, PTSD, OCD, grief, bereavement, relationship hardships, and work distress. I am comfortable treating clients seeking therapy for the first time along with those continuing their care.

I draw from Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral, Humanistic, Short-term, Family Systems, and eclectic approaches to tailor therapy to your unique needs and goals.

My mission is to provide resources, homework, and tools in a safe environment to support you in your healing journey. I am a firm believer that therapy works best when the client sets the pace. I want to reassure you that I am here to help you figure it out.

My journey to mental healthcare

In my past work experience, I worked in a domestic violence/ sexual assault agency where I learned about the limitations of mental health services within that population. To support my community and individuals who experience trauma, I decided to pursue a master's degree in marriage, family, and child therapy to make a difference in their lives.

First session consists of introduction, legal mandates, notice of privacy, exceptions of therapy, and building rapport to support your therapeutic journey.
