My communication style

Working towards creating an environment where you feel supported, heard, and understood is of high value to me. My goal is that after each session, you leave knowing your concerns are important and have more direction on what to work on next.

My journey to mental healthcare

I assisted individuals who were survivors of domestic violence and witnessed the transformation of someone who was scared into someone who was empowered and less afraid. I realized then that this was the type of change I wanted to be part of.

My goals for you

I view goal setting as a collaborative approach. The goals we establish should meet your needs and be clear, attainable, and realistic. Goals are flexible as life happens, and we can adjust the priority or timeline as needed.

Our first session

During our first session, I will introduce myself and review confidentiality and session expectations. I will answer any questions you have and begin learning about your reasons for seeking therapy. We will review the therapy schedule and ensure you leave with an understanding of what to expect next.
