I want to ADD/inform potential clients that I have been practicing for over 25 years.

My focus

I work with children, adolescents, and adults looking to improve their mental health, functioning, and relationships. I have experience with depression, anxiety, trauma, parent-child relational problems, ADHD, and oppositional defiant disorder.

My approach

I start where you are, using person-centered therapy to build trust and rapport. I listen to your concerns, then help you develop treatment goals to reduce or eliminate symptoms that impair your functioning. I use an eclectic assortment of tools to individualize our work together.

My communication style

I listen to my clients, genuinely engage, provide psychoeducational support, and help my clients realize, see, discover, learn, find, ascertain, and understand things they need. I also assign homework and/or skills to practice to ensure my client works towards their treatment goals. I look forward to meeting with you.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have been practicing for 20 years and can't see myself doing anything else. I enjoy working directly with people and helping them improve their functioning, relationships, and feel better about themselves.
