My focus

I am delighted to work with adults, teenagers, children, families, and couples. My specialties include bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, parenting, mood disorders, codependency, ADHD, and adoption.

My approach

I have an eclectic approach with heavy use of cognitive behavioral therapy. I have learned much from the hundreds of clients I have listened to over the years. I am better for having known each one of them.

My communication style

I am simply down-to-earth in my interactions with my clients, including in therapy.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have worked with many different families, individuals, and couples. I have facilitated support groups for adolescents managing anxiety, depression, and life stressors. I worked with an organization helping families impacted by sexual abuse, as well as one providing support to adults with chronic mental illnesses.

My goals for you

I am delighted when my people learn to recognize their strengths or learn new ways of managing anxiety and depression to help alleviate emotional pain, when they find purpose as they recover from losses or changes, or when they discover ways to connect more deeply with their loved ones.
