I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Los Angeles, CA. I work with children and youth and specialize in behavioral difficulties, anxiety, depression, and impulsivity using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to encourage progress and a decrease in symptoms.

My focus

I typically work with children and teens, but believe that parental/caregiver involvement makes better progress; thus, I enjoy checking in with parents and equipping them with skills to help children and teens make better progress.

My approach varies to meet the needs of my clients; however, I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help my clients better understand their behaviors, practice skills, and improve how they feel.

My communication style is calm, validating, and empathic. It's important that my clients feel comfortable communicating in sessions to make the best progress in therapy.

My journey to mental healthcare

I decided to become a therapist because I have always been a helper. I have always been a good listener and have helped those close to me process life's difficulties.

My goals for you

After assessing my client's symptoms, we identify what the client feels has improved their quality of life, and then the goals are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound.

Our first session

What you can expect from our first session together is for us to discuss the symptoms you are experiencing, their frequency and intensity, and for me to ask questions to better understand what's causing them. The first session is about building rapport.
