I am client-centered and believe in a person's autonomy. I am motivational and strengths-based during sessions.

My journey to mental healthcare

I grew up with a single mother who became a therapist when I was a child. Knowing her struggles as well as my own helped me choose to be a therapist. Therapy also really helped me get through my own pain and struggle as a young adult. I like to help people, and I believe in everyone's right to a happy and healthy life.

My goals for you

I let clients come up with their goals, and when necessary, suggest smaller, more achievable short-term goals. I believe that goals need to be measurable and realistic.

Our first session

You can expect that I will try to get as much of your past history and current life information during the first session. I will also try to allow you to share your thoughts and feelings, time permitting.
