Hi there, I'm Mike!

My approach to therapy is called Rational Living Therapy. My focus is to make you better, not just feel better.

My focus

I have helped all kinds of clients, and I focus on making you feel understood and accepted. A lot of the healing happens when you're really heard, maybe for the first time. This is what I want to provide you.

My approach

I help you understand that it's not other people causing your problems, but how you think about and interpret situations. I'll teach you a new way to think that keeps you calm and happy and able to set boundaries. You'll be able to solve your problems yourself in the future.

My communication style

I am calm and accepting. You will feel comfortable and accepted when you talk with me. You can trust me to keep whatever you tell me confidential. You will feel safe.

My journey to mental healthcare

After the failure of a long-term marriage, I entered therapy and recovery. After a lot of change in myself, I realized I wanted to help other people and save them some of the time and pain I went through.

My goals for you

I would like to know what outcome you would like from therapy and help you accomplish that with the resources you already have, but may have forgotten about or not realized you have.
