My communication style

I prioritize open communication to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I also practice challenging your thoughts to help with restructuring/reframing. I practice active listening and will give you opportunities to reflect on your experiences. If working through something challenging, you can expect me to be calm and patient.

My journey to mental healthcare

Therapy, for me, began with a desire to help others find inner strength through challenges brought on by life. Working on social/emotional skill building, behavioral interventions, anxiety, and episodes of depression showed me the power of therapy in healing. I’m driven by the belief that everyone has the capacity for growth, healing, and change.

My goals for you

Therapy is a collaborative partnership. Together, we’ll set goals that matter to you—whether that’s improving relationships, building self-esteem, or pursuing personal growth. As you gain new insights, we’ll adapt your plan to stay meaningful and supportive as you move toward where you want to be.

Our first session

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, build that rapport, and discuss what brings you to therapy. Feeling nervous is not uncommon, and rapport as well as therapy is a process we’ll build together over time. We’ll move at your pace, one step at a time, and I’ll be here to guide you throughout.
