I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years of experience. I have been licensed for 10 of those years. I have experience working with all age groups, and I specialize in Grief Recovery. I am passionate about understanding the whole person and "why we do the things we do". My ultimate goal is to make you feel more complete as a person.
My focus
Although I have experience with all age groups (Child Welfare, acute hospital care, trauma, crisis intervention, NICU, postpartum, hospice) and demographics, my primary focus is on coping and grief work. Divorce, death, loss of friendships, loss of trust, aging, loss of independence are all issues that I can help walk you through.
My approach
I tend to be fluid in my approach with clients. I always start where you are and focus my approach to what will fit you. I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Theory (CBT), Humanistic Therapy, and a Strengths-Based Approach. My eclectic approach allows for our sessions to be tailored to you and your needs.
