I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of California. I approach therapy with a warm stance, but also provide transparent feedback. I love to work with helping professionals (health care workers, legal activists, veterinarians, educators, etc.). I also find grief and loss work incredibly meaningful.
My focus
My specialities are working with: anxiety, depression, grief/loss, stress, substance use disorders (either abstinence focus or harm reduction), and life transitions. I enjoy working with helping professionals who are experiencing burnout, moral distress, grief/loss, or vicarious trauma.
My approach
I approach care from a holistic, human-centered lens. I enjoy utilizing evidence-based practices, which include (CBT),(DBT), and (ACT). I also utilize more somatic-based practices such as polyvagal theory, yoga, and EMDR. For those interested in the inclusion of animals, I can offer the inclusion of equines in our sessions.
