I am passionate about supporting all of my clients through various challenges and/or traumatic experiences by using strength and evidence-based approaches. Areas of practice focus on anxiety, depression, and relationship/family dynamics with teens and adults, to increase awareness of social and emotional development.

I work with teens, parents, young adults, and adults facing depression, anxiety, disruptive behaviors, self-esteem challenges, and conflicts during life transitions.

My approach

I use a strength-based approach with motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and interpersonal therapy to help you better understand your behaviors and cope with life's challenges. These evidence-based practices create a foundation for meaningful change and growth.

My communication style

I create a safe environment by building rapport with a soft tone, though I can be firm and challenging when needed to create solutions. I'm curious and will ask questions to better understand your situation and create a plan to move forward.

My journey to mental healthcare

Since I was in middle school, I have always been a good listener and "go-to friend." I realized at an early age that I wanted to help people in some of their lowest moments. As I developed, I honed in on my skills to assess situations, pay attention to how our dynamics impact our attachments/ relationships to others, and cope with challenges.
