I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have a passion for seeing clients exceed and have breakthroughs through the challenges of their lives. My approach to therapy is cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused techniques to help clients build self-awareness and gain practical coping strategies to navigate through their challenges.

I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and interpersonal relationship challenges. I also feel comfortable working with those dealing with grief and life transitions, such as job changes, retirement, or other major adjustments. My goal is empowering you for personal growth and emotional resilience.

My approach to providing therapy is collaborative and client-centered, making sure that each client's unique goals and needs are at the forefront of the session. I used Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help discover unhelpful thought patterns and incorporate practical, solution-focused strategies to help clients create change.

My tone would be described as a warm, down-to-earth environment where clients feel comfortable, encouraged, and supported. Working with me feels like having a conversation with a professional friend—someone who listens without judgment and uses clear, purposeful language to help you understand your thoughts and emotions.

My journey to mental healthcare

Since I was younger, I have always had a desire to see people succeed. Through my education, I discovered a passion for social work and the opportunity to walk alongside people during different seasons of their lives, helping them experience breakthroughs in practical ways that enable them to move forward.

I am very collaborative with goal setting. My goal is to navigate with you on setting S.M.A.R.T. goals that are agreeable to you and will help you move towards the positive change you wish to see.

Our first session

During the first session, clients can expect a relaxed, warm, and welcoming environment, where we take the time to get to know each other. We will begin with an intake process to help me become familiar with the clients' background and current concerns that lead them to therapy.
