Hi there, I'm Eva!

I am a counselor with a thriving interest in helping people reach their health and healing goals. I have studied and lived abroad for many years, such as in China and Korea. I have multi-background knowledge. I also was in the U.S. Army for 6 years, which means understands military rules and life, so veterans are very welcome.

My focus

I specialize in individual therapy for children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. If you are struggling with PTSD, trauma, anxiety, depression, and ADHD, social, emotional, and academic performance and behavior issues, please do not hesitate to contact me.

My approach

I apply CBT, humanistic, client-centered, gestalt therapy, and emotionally-focused therapy to approach my clients who need help. Sometimes, I also practice meditation with my clients, which is good for the population who have anxiety.

My communication style

I am a very passionate, compassionate, and spiritual person who is also open-minded to my clients using a genuine attitude, which helps us to communicate better.

My journey to mental healthcare

I graduated from the MA program at the National University. Then went to a practicum, an internship to accumulate 3000 hours, which is a requirement from BBS. Then worked in several different types of fields, such as rehab, private practice, and hospital systems, to develop my professional knowledge.

My goals for you

I used to be very patient and wait until they felt comfortable opening up. I think accepting how clients feel as who they are and identifying their struggles are important to develop self-awareness and self-values to set goals.
