Clients describe me as warm, grounded, and nonjudgmental. I’m an attentive, compassionate listener who creates a safe space for honest and vulnerable exploration. My style emphasizes humility, collaboration, and emotionally secure connection so clients feel supported and understood.

My journey to mental healthcare

My path into therapy was shaped by surviving civil war, advocating for justice, and serving in a domestic violence shelter. I later worked in case management and with LA County DMH, supporting diverse communities. These experiences deepened my purpose and commitment to serving Spanish-speaking clients.

My goals for you

I approach goal setting collaboratively, helping clients clarify their values, strengths, and priorities. Together, we create specific, realistic, and measurable goals, regularly reviewing progress and adjusting strategies to ensure therapy remains meaningful, empowering, and aligned with their personal growth.

Our first session

In our first session, we conduct a thorough assessment, explore childhood experiences, attachment, stressors, and identify patterns, strengths, and risks. Together, we uncover “stuck points” and set goals to foster healing, resilience, and self-empowerment, helping you move from surviving to thriving.
