Hi there, I'm Steven!

My approach to therapy is very much client-centered. We all have our innate, wonderful qualities, and sometimes, life experiences hinder our ability to tap into them. My job is to help you overcome the obstacles to be able to allow your inner qualities to shine.

My focus

I enjoy working with all different types of client issues. I am comfortable treating mood disorders, as well as family and couples dysfunctional patterns of behavior.

My approach

I like to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also like to look at strengths and help develop them.

My communication style

My tone is very nonjudgmental and kind. You will feel comfortable discussing the hardest of topics, and I will never jump into a conversation that you feel you are not ready for. My goal is to help you move past the obstacle in a healthy and sensitive manner.

My goals for you

We will be very open about the goals we want to accomplish. I also like to revisit goals, to be able to get feedback from my clients on how they feel they are doing, and if we need to adjust our goals.

Our first session

You will have an open and attentive ear to what you want to discuss. We will proceed as you feel comfortable and safe. I will work through an assessment of the obstacles you are experiencing, and we will set mutually agreed-upon goals.
