Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I work with all populations; my area of specialty is children 0-5 years of age, families, teens, and adults. The clientele I work with varies by client, coming in for services.

My focus

I work with clients from ages 0-5 years old, children, teens, and adults. I work with clients who have depression, anxiety, trauma, work stress, parenting, behavioral management for children, coping skills, and job stress. Every client that comes in for therapy is different, and I meet you where you are.

My approach

My therapeutic approach is what I like to call an eclectic approach. I pull from different approaches to help you meet your goals. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, helping you understand your thoughts, feelings, and actions. I utilize Strengths-Based to help you with strengths that you have and go from there.

My communication style

In sessions, I make sure that it is first a safe and judgment-free environment for you to discuss issues that are going on. I tend to use a gentle tone but firm to help you understand challenges that may arise. I come to sessions with a plan and different handouts for us to discuss and work on.

My journey to mental healthcare

The reason I became a therapist is so that I could help others achieve their goals. I come up with a plan and structure it into sessions so that we can help you ultimately feel better and achieve the best version of yourself.

We will discuss your goals during the intake. We will mutually discuss the areas of concern that you are coming in for therapy, and discuss what could be the best goals at this time.

Our first session

After the intake of the first session, we explore more in depth some triggers and further issues that have brought you into therapy. We will start working on a way to help reach your goals we have set.
