I am about the soft life. Soft life is a life of self-care where you make yourself a priority. It is a life that emphasizes reduced stress, dispelling false narratives, and good boundaries. You are worthy, and it is your time to breathe.

My focus

I work with individuals and couples on a range of issues, including stress, grief, multicultural issues, anxiety, depression, and trauma (current, previous, intergenerational). I have specialized training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) for trauma treatment.

My approach

I provide individual therapy using an integrative, psycho-spiritual focus that incorporates metaphysical techniques. My open-minded approach encourages empowerment, insight, and practical tools. I am open to all spiritual perspectives and describe my practice as holistic psychotherapy focusing on mind, body, and spirit connection.

My communication style

My communication style is client-centered, culturally sensitive, and supportive. I take an eclectic approach, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused techniques, motivational interviewing, and racial trauma recovery models to best meet your unique needs.

My journey to mental healthcare

I began my journey in mental healthcare, driven by a passion to help others live their best lives. This education provided me with a strong foundation in both the psychological and spiritual aspects of well-being.

In our first session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy and begin to build a trusting, supportive relationship. I will listen with an open heart and mind to understand your unique experiences, challenges, and goals. We will then collaboratively develop a personalized treatment plan to help you achieve the positive changes you seek.
