My style is a good fit for men and women dealing with life transitions and social pressures. This often takes the form of anxiety, depression, stress, and healing from emotional trauma. I help clients navigate these periods and build coping skills to feel better about themselves and develop a more positive outlook.

My approach varies based on your needs. I use motivational interviewing, empathic listening, and unconditional positive regard intertwined with trauma-informed, object-relations cognitive behavioral therapy.

My communication style is honest, kind, yet direct. I consider myself a mirror for my clients. I want you to feel comfortable talking with me about anything, and I pride myself on listening without judgment.

My journey to mental healthcare

I've always been drawn to helping people through difficult times. Whether as a peer counselor, community volunteer, or trusted friend, I naturally gravitate toward supporting others. I enjoy seeing individuals become the best versions of themselves.

I like to set unique, realistic goals with my clients. It's about working together to define what you want to accomplish. This starts by building trust and getting comfortable with therapy. Over time, we'll set goals and track your progress.

Our first session

In our first session, we'll spend most of our time talking about how you've been feeling recently, and I'll ask questions to better understand why. The first session is about building an initial connection and helping me get a sense of where we should go from there.
