Hi there, I'm Ben!
I'm a late-diagnosed autistic and ADHD (AuDHD) man — I received my diagnosis at 36 from a psychologist who is also self-disclosed autistic. Working with someone who shared that experience made a real difference in my own process of self-discovery and acceptance, and it's part of why I do this work now.
My focus
While I am open to working with all adults, my ideal client is likely neurodivergent, either officially diagnosed, self-diagnosed, or questioning whether they might be autistic. My ideal client has likely felt different than others, struggled to navigate our neurotypical-dominant world, dealt with anxiety/depression, and has sensory sensitivities.
My approach
One of my goals as an autistic therapist is to draw on my own lived experience to offer other neurodivergent individuals genuine understanding and support as they navigate a world that can often feel overwhelming or not built with them in mind. I would describe my therapeutic approach as eclectic, person-centered, and trauma-informed.
