My communication style

This is deep work that can be hard and painful, but I also love hearing laughter during our sessions. I value authenticity and I know how important it is to be an authentic human in the space with you. We are all just doing the best we can, and you need someone who is safe, understanding, gentle and non-judgmental. Relax with me after a hard day.

My journey to mental healthcare

I started out in life wanting to be an animation artist. (I am very animated myself and I have a lot of personality). But I had my fair share of struggles with mental health issues. I needed help and personal healing for me. I recognized in my 20s that I wanted more purpose in my career and felt drawn to do this work with people who are suffering.

My goals for you

I believe in our ability to evaluate what you need together and provide a plan to help you be the healthiest, best version of you. Your thoughts and opinions matter to me. I understand that you need someone with experience, strength and hope to find that path to healing. Listening is valuable but I know clients want feedback and evidence of change.

Our first session

I love hearing that deep sigh of relief when our conversation sheds some positive light on specific areas to clear up. It's my job to provide a relaxing and trustworthy space for you to open up. The benefit of doing EMDR is that there is some structure, so you feel like the work is going somewhere with the identification of “targets” to focus on.
