My approach

I take an eclectic approach to therapy using psychoeducation and integrating evidence-based techniques from motivational interviewing, CBT, IFS, and mindfulness. I believe it's important for individuals to understand how their life experiences have shaped their ways of coping and surviving.

My communication style

I foster a positive environment where clients feel heard, seen, and validated. Clients often describe me as warm, genuine, and occasionally funny. Together, we create a space where you feel safe to cry or laugh, allowing insight and understanding to emerge naturally.

My journey to mental healthcare

I became a therapist because I'm drawn to helping people reimagine what's possible. I understand what it's like to feel ill-equipped to navigate life's challenges or pursue meaningful change. Whether clients face internal struggles or the impacts of racism, sexism, ableism, or homophobia, I believe in the human capacity to heal.
