Hi there, I'm Mirella!

I have worked with children, adults, and families since 2002. I began providing therapy to patients in 2014, in clinical settings such as psychiatric facilities, integrated care/medical facilities, and outpatient services. I have helped individuals who have experienced childhood trauma, physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, and many more issues.

My focus

Currently, I work with adults and specialize in anxiety, panic attacks, depression, trauma, PTSD, relationship issues/divorce, grief, life transitions, and work-related conflicts/stress. I understand how difficult it can be to function in life and reach your full potential, due to unhealed trauma, debilitating anxiety, and lack of motivation.

My approach

My approach integrates psychodynamic, logotherapy, solution-focused, strength-based, mindfulness, person-centered, psychoeducation, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and motivational interviewing. I believe that environment, relationships, childhood, and trauma have a great effect on our adult lives.
