Hi there, I'm Karen!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I work with adults experiencing life transitions, anxiety, depression, and trauma-related symptoms. I aim to create a supportive, culturally sensitive space to help individuals grow through life’s challenges. While I don't offer sessions in Spanish, we can absolutely blend languages when it feels natural.

My focus

I primarily work with adults and first responders navigating challenges, including relationship difficulties, work stress, life transitions, negative behavior patterns, anxiety, depression, and trauma-related symptoms. I am also a Certified First Responder Counselor with insight into the unique stressors first responders experience.

My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and eclectic. I flexibly apply various evidence-based techniques to meet your unique needs and support your healing journey.

I provide a calm, empathetic, non-judgmental, and compassionate space where you feel heard, understood, and supported through every session.

My journey to mental healthcare

I became a therapist because I genuinely enjoy working with people. I have worked with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds who have experienced trauma, relationship challenges, housing instability, loss, and other life stressors. These experiences have shaped my commitment to helping individuals find strength, resilience, and healing.
