Hi there, I'm Carol!

I have over 35 years of experience as a psychotherapist and have helped people with many issues, such as stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationships.

My focus

I can help you with depression, anxiety, and a large variety of other issues. My methods include client-focused therapy, as well as CBT, Energy Psychology (Tapping, The Emotion Code, EMDR), clinical hypnosis, and NLP.

My approach

Being a good listener and great trainer are the skills I use most. I respond to the needs of the clients, and we talk about and plan a flexible treatment plan for moving forward.

I communicate with help from active (reflective) listening, questions openly asked and answered, in a steady and nonjudgmental manner.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey to becoming a therapist began when I was in therapy. As I worked through personal issues, my therapist asked me what I would like to do, and then I knew. My whole life and existence had led me to that point. The next week, I was exploring graduate schools, and the rest is history.

Together, we discuss and plan goals for your treatment. After a little these may change or evolve, and we will explore what is best for you in continuing.

Our first session

In our first session, we will get to know each other a little, and I will explain some of the laws and rules that I must follow, such as Limits to Confidentiality, so you will be informed. The rest will be about your background and what you want to achieve.
