Hi there, I'm Maribel!

I work with individuals, families, and couples of all ages to reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, and trauma.

My focus

I am experienced working with school-aged children from K-12, and adults who have challenges with life transitions (i.e., Divorce, Grief, and Loss) and/or have endured traumatic experiences that make it difficult to focus, learn, and enjoy life.

My approach

I provide a holistic and unique treatment experience by utilizing a combination of Evidence-Based Practices and modalities that best fit the people I work with. Including but not limited to Trauma Informed CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Based Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

My communication style is warm, accepting, and personable. I make the people I work with feel comfortable, understood, supported, and empowered.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always advocated for people who did not have a voice or the ability to stand up for themselves. I became a therapist to help children and adults find their voice, courage, and power to work through traumas and challenges from the past and learn how to live a safe, healthy, well-balanced life.

My goals for you

My approach to goal setting and treatment planning is to start where you want to start and work together to formulate a roadmap in which we can identify the root cause, triggers, and symptoms of challenges and ways to overcome them. I can help you lower the duration, intensity, and frequency of symptoms.
